Auto-Tile Helper

Preview the 16 (4-bit) or 48 (Wang) variants of an auto-tile.

What it does

Visualizes the bitmask that auto-tiles use. Hover any cell to see which neighbor bits are set — useful when authoring a 16- or 48-tile auto-tile sheet for Godot, Unity Tilemaps, or RPG Maker.

How to use it

Pick a bitmask mode (4-bit or Wang). Click any cell to see the binary index. Use the labels as a guide when painting your tile variations.

Pro tip

Auto-tiles fail when the corner pieces don't visually match. Generate them as a family in the Generator, not independently.
