Importing into Godot 4

Godot 4 import setup, AtlasTexture, and AnimatedSprite2D from StudioSprite exports.

1. Project defaults

Project Settings → Rendering → Textures → Default Texture Filter = Nearest for pixel art (Linear for HD-2D). Drop the PNG anywhere in res://.

2. Animated sprite

Add AnimatedSprite2D → create new SpriteFramesAdd frames from sprite sheet → pick PNG, set H/V grid, select cells. Name the animation, set Speed (FPS), enable Loop.

3. Trigger from code

@onready var sprite: AnimatedSprite2D = $AnimatedSprite2D

    sprite.play("attack")
    await sprite.animation_finished
    sprite.play("idle")
